40th anniversary reunion
Over the weekend of the 29th and 30th May 1999, several hundred musicians descended upon Grimsby. These musicians all had a common factor: they had all been involved with the GCDYO at some time during the last 40 years. They had returned to renew old friendships, catch up with news and to join together under the baton of Jeffrey Babb to rehearse and perform a concert. The whole weekend was a spectacular success thanks to the organisation of Sue Parr.
No official reunions are planned for the near future, but news of any forthcoming events will be posted on this website as they arise.
